Eternally grateful

It seems things are changing and I'm rolling out into the light, I'm beginning to accept who I am  the light in me shines bright

Yes I'm not the man I was, now I'm a broken poet in a chair but it doesn't mean my life's over, I've got people that still care

People that I see often, some who call me every single day, some I've never met face to face, who live so far away

Each person sends me love, each of you play your part, giving me the strength to carry on, know you all live inside my heart

To you all I'm so grateful for the fact each one of you give your time, I wanted to give you all my thanks, so I put it in a rhyme

You all do your bit to chase away the dark clouds, to dry up my tears that fall like rain, to return a smile to my face, even when I'm in real pain

So let me take this moment to thank you, remember even when we are apart, I'm eternally grateful and I mean it from my heart
