'tis a Rose �
birthed with the restlessness of love �
embedded in a purity so fragile..so delicate �
underappreciated..never reciprocated � �
wandering alone unsheathed � �
in a world amongst the misbegotten yet �
never to blend in a field of weeds �

a soul sojourner seeking truth beyond � �
the mythos of sex and the hypes of society �
possessed with a type of propriety � �
that unnerves the modern man..out of place � �
hoping to reserve a space just for one �
� �
coping with the pressures of time �
yearning to one day move freely with the gifts �
of her genuineness and ingenuity �
�sacred in synchronous companionship �
with every element of her crown recognized �
rationalized and redeemed..petal thorns and all �
allowing the rose to reflect and magnify �
that which was selflessly given �
