The Hourglass

Do you hear it?
The tolling of the bell
A warning
To those in sin who dwell

Can you feel it?
That beating heart of hate
It's swelling
There's no changing other's fate

Can you taste it?
The blood that is to flow
Pointless
In that sea of blood we row

Can you see it?
The fires that will raze
Comes hell
To cover in a deadly haze

Do you hear it?
Can you feel it?
Can you taste it?
Can you see it?

If you do
Then all hope is lost
You've lived your life subdued
Now suffer the horrific cost
