Candles of Life
Candles flicker, devouring light,
Their flames dance, a mesmerizing sight,
But in their glow, shadows creep,
Devouring life, a secret to keep.
The wax drips, a steady beat,
As the flame consumes, without retreat,
A life once bright, now fading fast,
As the candle burns, a reminder to last.
But in the darkness, hope remains,
As a new flame flickers, life sustains,
For though the candles may consume,
New light will come, a brightening bloom.
Their flames dance, a mesmerizing sight,
But in their glow, shadows creep,
Devouring life, a secret to keep.
The wax drips, a steady beat,
As the flame consumes, without retreat,
A life once bright, now fading fast,
As the candle burns, a reminder to last.
But in the darkness, hope remains,
As a new flame flickers, life sustains,
For though the candles may consume,
New light will come, a brightening bloom.
