Orchid

It was by the shore I first sensed her
lit up by the orchids
reminiscent in yesterday's yearn
looking above from the grasses
where I lay

her mounds were precocious
surrounded
in the mist of mind
surrendering to only
the way of the bend

she bit me with her lashes
accentuating the life in her eye
a spherical vision of beauty
illuminating on a very particular day

she swayed

an end of an era
where only she belonged

winds moved
still she stood
still
stuck, in love with my stare

she stayed
