It doesn't need to rain today,
The soil is moistened well enough,
By the drops
that glide gently down her face,
Finding home,
In the depths below,
Bringing hope to a tiny seed,
as gently as a bird landing in a willow tree.
As needed as
the wind that blows:
A brand new breath
feels her lungs,
She holds it close...then lets it go.
The sprouting of a new life has begun.
The soil is moistened well enough,
By the drops
that glide gently down her face,
Finding home,
In the depths below,
Bringing hope to a tiny seed,
as gently as a bird landing in a willow tree.
As needed as
the wind that blows:
A brand new breath
feels her lungs,
She holds it close...then lets it go.
The sprouting of a new life has begun.
