Growth

It doesn't need to rain today,
The soil is moistened well enough,
By the drops
that glide gently down her face,
Finding home,
In the depths below,

Bringing hope to a tiny seed,
as gently as a bird landing in a willow tree.
As needed as
the wind that blows:
A brand new breath
feels her lungs,
She holds it close...then lets it go.
The sprouting of a new life has begun.

To all the beautiful poets, the empaths, and those who are in the depths of despair and misplaced hope:

Let your tears water your growth, don't give up today.
