Solar Flare (Stars of the Eclipse Pt. 2)
I made it through the night
Now the sun is in my eyes
I finally passed out by 4:00 AM
With a few things I've realized
When it comes to my eclipse
Did it hit midnight, or when I went to sleep?
When I was losing my hours
Who was counting my sheep?
There might be anger in my flare
And I'm starting to talk
I'm trying to open my wings
But I'm stuck taking a walk
Feeling the wind through my hair
But wait, where did my lover go?
He probably wanted to go chase the sun
But why didn't he let me know?
Maybe my night wasn't enough
It's okay, I kind of figured
It's like my heart was a gun
And he didn't pull the trigger
So, I played a dangerous game
It was my own roulette
It was so drawn out
Just like the lie of his silhouette
It's getting dark again
Another day of not knowing my place
I'll get my wings one day
So I can finally have my space
Now the sun is in my eyes
