Getting My Howdy Doody On - with  Mrblack616

In the depths of my mind, I spiral down
Insomnia has me in its tight grip, I start to drown
Stoned and high on the octane of life
I cling to my Little Pony in moments of strife

Around me, the world is a carnival of sound
And the clowns and jesters dance around
I hear Buffalo Bob's voice and the interns' rhyme
"It's Howdy Doody time", echoes across space and time

In the sweet by and by, I lose my grip
I step on the gas and the world becomes a blur of dip
The Batmobile roars as I hurtle down the track
And the Prozac in my veins whispers, "You can never go back"

But I push on, the wind beneath my wings
And I fly to the edge of everything
With each passing moment, I leave behind
The parts of me that were too hard to find

It's a mad, twisted ride that I'm on
And I'm not sure when it will be gone
But for now, I revel in the chaos and the flame
As I ride my wild pony, High on life's wonderful game.
