Different, we are, contradictory
Contrasting, the you and me.

Deviant in feelings and thoughts
For you are not like me

Yet we found each other
Between all those differences.

There seems to be one thing we have in common,
even though you are my South Pole versus my North

We're empathetic beings
with the ability to love, all those many discrepancies

For they make you,
as they make me.
