Metamorphosis(2023)

nitrogen with gases...breathing
penetrating lungs then leaving
oxygen comes in and changes
to CO2 for plant exchanges -

electric currents flowing inside
power everything as we ride
thought streams formed by our perceptions
of reality with no deceptions -

consciousness...I am, you are
together near a yellow dwarf star
in a spiraling and endless story
magnetically attracted for the

metamorphosis, the always changing
like butterflies and feeling strange in
places that we have never been...
sometimes awake is like a dream

penetrating mind then leaving
the rhythmic pulsing of our breathing
out and in and out and in
to the very end where we begin

remembering to change, to metamorphize
while feeling very strange as what dies
disappears yet still we are
together near a yellow dwarf star....
