sunbeams

I love the sun.
I have always felt a special connection with the sun.
I love standing under it.
I love the way it feels shining on my skin.
I love the way it warms my face on a cool spring day.
I love how it warms things up in a greedy autumn.
It burns many different shades of beautiful colors.
It makes rainbows, which make us feel somehow special and selected.
Dogs can die on sunny days and we will still feel smiled upon.
The sun of the south is a raging bull.
When things are soaked, it lightens the load by drying them out.
It dries up all the puddles.
It makes the dirt firmer.
It makes me smile.
I love to read, write, meditate, and practice yoga in the sunlight.
I am writing this under the moonlight and I wish for the sun.
I stand under lamps to feel more well lit.
I love sitting outside and watching sunrises and sunsets with a steaming cup of black coffee.
Sunrises are my favorite because it feels so cool and nippy as the darkness fades
but you know the warmth is on the way because you start to see the light.
Sunny days are always perfect.
I love the sun.
