Light and Soul

Heavenly fire
Heavenly light
Light from above
Light strongly descending
Descending to earth
Descending swiftly
Swiftly carrying the word
Swiftly lighting
Lighting the world
Lighting for all to see
See with your eyes
See with your heart
Heart of man
Heart of the son of man
Man sinning
Man learning
Learning to be free
Learning from the tree of knowledge
Knowledge from within
Knowledge from above
Above the clouds
Above the seas
Seas so blue
Seas so churning
Churning with rage              
Churning with jealousy
Jealousy along with contempt
Jealousy proving fatal
Fatal thoughts
Fatal actions
Actions alone
Actions with others
Others also damned
Others also cursed
Cursed to the fire
Cursed to feel pain forever
Forever without love
Forever without companionship
Companionship so dear
Companionship so human
Human experience
Human touch
Touch sending kindness
