Awakening

Awaken, sweet love, from where you lie,
Brush away slumber from sleep-enchanted eyes,
While you accept this kiss,
I give through parted lips,
Summoning for you before night dies.
Awaken, eternal bride, my lass to be served,
Let not the sands of time pass undeserved,
Though mutual flames are quenched and rest we should,
My fire stirs like amber in smoldering wood,
To sweep through me in every nerve.
Awaken, soothing water, source of my fire,
Bathe me deep in love and desire,
While I sail upon your creamy seas,
And pause to rest at tender lees
Of crimson-tipped hills,to tease and admire.
Awaken, curer, saviour, much savoured wife,
Mistress, temptress, do not strife,
When you flow with me in every wave,
In my lascivious fervor let your body lave,
To Immerse in throbbing rhythms of endless life.
