Space! and forgotten star
*********************************************
My first lighthearted poem on here,
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did
writing it....
**********************************************
Space! and forgotten star
Rockets were OK but they have had there day
Now its time now for our dreams to play
Their's a new thing out an invented dream
Its a cool sort of flying machine
It plugs into a computer ready to lift off
It circles space we will soon be off
Son to Mum are you ready to go?
Carry on Son I want to see the star show
Lifting off in a cloud of sparks!
Hold on tight its not game for a laugh!
Travelling at the speed of light
The forgotten star is soon in sight
Mum! what was that Star once called?
That was Earth son, Its people were cold.
They started Wars and were never at peace
And sometimes starved other in grief
They were called Mankind!
A forgotten race they were left behind
Look down onto the ground and see them fight
There all idiots doing it day and night
Lets fly onwards this is a sad race
Mankind was a waist of space!
Flying onwards turn left at the moon
The stars float by as we zoom
Aim for the northern side of mars
There's a planet there that builds space cars
We can buy one for your dad
And on his birthday he will be glad
OK mum were coming in
Landing belts on, look at me spin!
Don't show off son
That’s how the humans went mad!
Sorry Mum!
Please don't tell dad.
