Stressed. In. Peace.

Buried in tranquility
An empty grave

Surrounded by fragility
This world we've made

Playing what they've given me
Each day, each day

Until the end has rendered me
Just washed away

I'm open in my privacy
In every way

It's all but killing me
The price to pay

Two coins for utility
Two cents to hear me say

All the lies forbidding me
Saying that it's okay

Dust to dust and ash to ash
That old line

Life's a must, must to grab
Defeated sighs

With ink to brush and paint to dab
The art to die

Blood to blood, it's not enough
Don't ask me why

Long since crushed my shattered mask
Lessoned humility

Tones in hush and hues in black
It's gotten into me

Iron rust and tarnished brass
No need, forgiven me

Blood to rush while hearts attack
Buried in traquilty
