All because of you
You are my favorite song played in the morning
My heartfelt prayers heard by God at night
The index finger that softly dries away my misguided tears
You are the ceilings that talks me calmly through my harrowing fears
The mirror that looks back at me to tell me how much I slay
Even when my mind plays vicious tricks on me, telling me I do not
You are the detox that rids my body of all things that are not good for me
You are important to me like the strings of a guitar
For without those strings
I will cease to hear the beautiful masterpiece that is called You
A sweet song that can be heard around the world and touched by millions
My five senses all effected by you
How about my eyes that only have a sight for the likeness of you
Or my sense of smell being seduced by the scent of teakwood permeating off of your body
A scent that truly represents a masculine man, as yourself
Maybe it is the sound of your footsteps that creep behind me, that get me going
The rush of not knowing what the person behind each step has in store for me
You know when it comes to taste that it can go anyway possible
Whether you drink from me or I drink from you
Both of our thirsts will be beyond quenched
Ahh the last sense, which is the desire of your physical touch
That would be just enough to melt me down to my feet
You, a man of character and high stature
Surely needs a woman, to compliment your style and profile
Call me Anita Baker because I surely want to be caught in the rapture of your love
So I say carpe diem and fuck the haters because I wouldn't want to be them
You are everything that this one life of mine have to offer
No man can compare to my thoughts, dreams and fantasies of you
If anyone tries to compare it, then I will surely beg to differ
If I could give our love a name it would be eternity
Simply because no one can part two souls that are meant to be
My heartfelt prayers heard by God at night
