The pieces of a pie
Do not amount to full
But they amount to me
When I submit to the null
You would not place a square
In the space of a star
And so why even care
When you don't know who you are?
Adventure vilified
Among tears that it brings
Our failures dignified
By diamonds we wear as rings
My need to obfuscate
Subverts this blaze of cold
But so, why complicate?
When all I need to do is fold.
Do not amount to full
But they amount to me
When I submit to the null
You would not place a square
In the space of a star
And so why even care
When you don't know who you are?
Adventure vilified
Among tears that it brings
Our failures dignified
By diamonds we wear as rings
My need to obfuscate
Subverts this blaze of cold
But so, why complicate?
When all I need to do is fold.
