Off the Cuff Thoughts...
- A government's purpose is to protect its citizens against outside interests, not a mechanism for protecting its own.
- By not taking individual responsibility, WE are the creators of "Big Government".
- A celebrity's sudden death is not a "tragedy". What's a tragedy is the media making it such with special reports, hours of coverage, and prime-time specials. A homeless person's sudden death... crickets.
- In order to be a human being, one must first practice at being human.
- Speaking the words of Jesus and Buddha brings them to light; practicing the words brings them to life.
- If you're too busy talking, you can't listen. Sometimes there's much more to listen to than there is to talk about.
- One difference between humans and the rest of the animal kingdom is that humans have the ability to rationalize eating their young.
