Image for the poem Gravel

Gravel

there are birds that fall
from the sky like drops
of dew and then pierce the white
of the eyes concave mirrors
the dreams in the skin
of the convex mirror
there are birds that fall
from the sky like clouds
red scattered as they were
the feathers on the stones
smoother than gravel.

The brick blue of your eyes
stood out in the red of the trees
gave sharp notes
to the green of the clouds…
printed and expressed
in transparent dots
that does not allow
neither false realities
nor clusters in the lavender lies
semi-tones of the breeze.

The herons will pass
over the chimneys
that produce clouds
that will rain on
their wings...
The herons will fall
as graceful as
they flew and will crash
in floor...

The Afternoon Breeze
will caress the branches
the breeze will bring its Jasmines
and will cause allergic reactions.
