To be a player and to fall in love
The roof caves in on me.
I'm just running to the beating.
Forgot about cold and heat.
Taken the defeat.
Broken from this mould.
Broken for feeling so old.
Youth a fountain stolen over time.
Youth a foundation building this wall.
My windows are all broken.
And the lord's kaleidoscope colours shine in.
My temple peaceful.
My heart fragile.
All mine to keep.
All mine to throw away.
Scorned from love, burnt by a flame.
Tamed by my beast , isolated and defeated.
Hurt the ones I love.
Who wouldn't stop hurting me.
Broken my own morals , to be unseen.
Fought for freedom , being forced into a prison cell.
Cursed and thrown into hell.
Cursed and thrown into hell.
Blessed but cursed.
Blessed but cursed.
A stab womb for life.
A stab womb for life.
Wound up and thrown away.
Spun round and thrown away.
Laughed at and thrown away.
Life a Shakespeare's play ,
And I was never Juliet.
To play write and love...
Could you love a player ...
