Broken By The Unexpected

As I sit with this pain in my heart, Never thought the one's I love would ever tear me apart.

 Pulling and tugging It's all to real, The strongest muscle of the body but  weakness it feels.

Strapped down so noone could rip it apart, But selfishness from them came in and played It's part.

 Pain hitting like darts the hurt has begin, I refuse to give up I need a healing for my heart to mend.

A rumbling tumbling thief in the night, I'm battling this pain and trust I'm putting up a fight.

Tossing and turning with so many sleepless nights, Rewinding things over in my head as I say to myself this just isn't right.

With every tick and every tock, My emotions grows short like the hands on a broken clock.

Everybody always says things will get better but they don't seem to understand, The love my heart gives is  strong and it's loyalty will never end.

 I'm sitting here stuck with these wounds feeling torn and inflicted, but the most hurtful thing is I've been broken by the unexpected.
