List of Things I Don't Know

 
I don't know how to drive
automobiles
But I know for sure
drive the words
guide the rhymes
I don't know how to contain my emotions
inconsolable
I didn't get a driving license
But I took
poetic license
I don't know how to ride a bike
my pedal is the letters
and my way
with the words
I do not know how to swim
I'm terrified of water
but I'm not afraid
to rhyme the heartache
to dive
in the blood of pain
I don't go by boat
I hate planes
But I travel around the world
On a runaway train
aimlessly
with a flower in my hand.
