Poem #1: January '23 (The Beginning)
*Reflections of the Mind:
A full-bodied moon
Backed by a space blue sky
Giant trees' silhouettes
Listen for the wind's subtle cry
Blocked
In the physical and mental senses
Pencil in hand
Pensive demands, too tense
A swell of dysfunction
Collapsing into waves of routine
Wipe away the dust
Expose what lies beneath
