Blue Bear
It's a dream she thought, but it was wonder and awe
At the end of the bed, there was a blue bear to adore
To the silent sentinel, she said 'I know you're not real'
But beguiled by its presence, she'd ephemerally heal
And though time would pass, she'd always remember
Even when August faded, into a cimmerian December
So when she found peace, with a last nod of her head
I'm sure, a blue bear was there, at the end of her bed
At the end of the bed, there was a blue bear to adore
To the silent sentinel, she said 'I know you're not real'
But beguiled by its presence, she'd ephemerally heal
And though time would pass, she'd always remember
Even when August faded, into a cimmerian December
So when she found peace, with a last nod of her head
I'm sure, a blue bear was there, at the end of her bed
