It's time to ring in the New Year
That means it's time to abstain
From all the spirits and the beer
It's a time to stay quite plain
But the drinks that we leave behind
Are the ones that make us grin
We'll take a break for the last time
Until February's set in
So raise a glass of cranberry juice
And let's all sing a song
We'll be celebrating New Years
But alcohol won't be along
