Holding A Lie
I wish things were different
I wish it wouldn't always come to this
I feel like a machine
You make me feel like your disappointment
I wish I had a chance
I'd rather not lay on my back
I'd rather be left out of
Your promiscuous act
When I don't perform
You say it's alright
But you say that you look mad
Because you're all tense inside
You say that you love me
And because of that you feel bad every time
But why do I feel lonely
When it's you that's the bad guy
I wish things were different
I wish I could hide
Instead I'm with you
Until you're done with the ride
I wish it wouldn't always come to this
I feel like a machine
You make me feel like your disappointment
I wish I had a chance
I'd rather not lay on my back
I'd rather be left out of
Your promiscuous act
When I don't perform
You say it's alright
But you say that you look mad
Because you're all tense inside
You say that you love me
And because of that you feel bad every time
But why do I feel lonely
When it's you that's the bad guy
I wish things were different
I wish I could hide
Instead I'm with you
Until you're done with the ride
