Entry #1
What happened to forgetting and moving on from the past?
Though here I see, you have me "feeling kind of special";
Still thinking of lies I once told, how it must irk you so,
To know and behold what a monster I really am.
And you won't understand why I lied and how many times,
Will you be able to find each one?
Write them all down for the world to see?
To see what you failed to notice.
To see your side of the story for once.
Go on, count how many times I lied.
Told a fictional story,
To save some rational part of me.
See,
It wasn't that I forgot the bad things,
No, not at all.
It was that I couldn't stop thinking about them.
But, again, you wouldn't understand;
So instead I have people close to me now,
Who get that everything I said was a twist on
Something real because I would rather live
A story so much more traumatic than the reality
That I was hurt.
