The Formation of a Concept

What is my cognitive
content for today ?
To see the beauty of a hummingbird in flight?
Or to bask in  a sense
 of umbrage ?

To witness a lotus blossom
in bloom, or to remain
 shackled in my shame ?

Today I will seek
 to dismiss the impression
I have of a  limited identity
I will respond
 to undue pressure with
acts of kindness
I will take up mentally
my willful engagement
with anger and regret
Thus leading  me to
freedom
 
To  believe in myself is finite
to seek what I believe
is infinite  
Change is my only constant
I will continue to seek change
My  perception is my  reality
