Mute
I've said I love you
Two million times in three thousand ways
In five hundred rhymes in four hundred days
And you said I love you too
Will tomorrow keep that truth?
Or will it lose its meaning
Because that happens to me
Say it won't happen to you?
When questioning is everything
Doom pending on me remembering
That there's no definitive ending
A spiral transcending anything you do
My anxiety turns you mute
It renders me helpless
I'm too needy and selfish
Whenever I ask you
I won't run
That's not why
I stare longer into your eyes
I hug you extra tight
It's so when I spiral
I remember the sight
No need to ask a question not new
Do you love me like I love you?
Two million times in three thousand ways
In five hundred rhymes in four hundred days
And you said I love you too
Will tomorrow keep that truth?
Or will it lose its meaning
Because that happens to me
Say it won't happen to you?
When questioning is everything
Doom pending on me remembering
That there's no definitive ending
A spiral transcending anything you do
My anxiety turns you mute
It renders me helpless
I'm too needy and selfish
Whenever I ask you
I won't run
That's not why
I stare longer into your eyes
I hug you extra tight
It's so when I spiral
I remember the sight
No need to ask a question not new
Do you love me like I love you?
