The Innocent Spirit Of The Wild Forest

This morn i ghosted out into the woods
Seeking relief and a quite spot to brood
Still, was the sparrows in his nest sleeping
And the morning flower with dew dripping

But the forest was fast asleep, misty veiled
Like a mythic jungle, underwood smoke, sailed
Only a hoo and a cracking sound, i could sense
As if that morn, all the beings were in sylvan trance

Damp soil, the eath feels meek beneath my feet
A mythical vibe vibrates in the dead atmosphere
Those tall pine trees witnessed my childhood treat
In the forest we haunted, we could make ghosts flee

Under moonlit nights, glowworms used to feast
Night crickets, joyfully serenading warming hymns
While the wild forest would gently be defeated
As we filled the airs with laugh, hearts gaily. inebriated

Oh,! i dont moan over the heydays, and the past whiles
As I'm still adult boy, now i can enshrine in rhymes
And ease the child in me, who, in tears, is still recalling
The innocence, and the happy carelessness of the past
