Adelphina, gracias mi amiga. This was in the spirit of Kerouac's "Mexico City Blues." I let my mind wander far and wide. Very grateful you made the connections perfectly. Your comments are the gold for my writing.
I have a big soft spot for bluebirds and have written about them often, so this one really caught my attention, my dear.
There's something so romantic and seriously beautiful when imagining two souls that are so in love that they can transform the physical and spiritual boundaries we often place upon ourselves and our ways of thinking... The clever Jazzy/Buddhist feel is palpable, even within your minimalistic style...I just adored this one and I'm so glad to have caught it.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful ink with us. Missed you. 🌹-🐦 xo Susan
Susan, I adore your review of this poem. You looked into its layers with your brilliant perspective that sees deeply. I always know I am in for an in-depth look into my poetry when your words unfold. I thank you from my heart and soul for reading me so closely and giving me the gift of your eye for art. You do so much more than read me you peer into my soul.
Truman thank you, good sir! I aspire to write jazz poetry as Kerouac did and if I even touched on that style I am more than happy as a writer. I appreciate very much you seeing the jazz in my poetry.
