the eternal nomad wanders
searching for something beautiful,
for a truth to believe in and finds nothingness

yet, there is good sprinkled through mankind
just enough to keep us going
beauty while tantalizing is false
if you scratch the surface of things
you will find insanity

evil pure and simple
ripples underneath stirring the promise of relief
I've learned to fear while I toil here
seeking beauty reaping ash

balm to my soul you are here
reaching for me through the eternities
silent redeemer filling my void
