As witless agents of entropy
It's tough to outdo the common man
Whose determination to be free
So often undermines the finest plan
Which rare wisdom knows to be the best
For living in comfort and in peace
And passing the harshest of nature's test,
All as our numbers daily increase.
But lurking off in the chaotic wings
Is that massive host of things to go wrong;
That's what reality evermore brings;
A disaster list as the day is long,
Where we never let an error escape
The planet of The Anxiety Ape!

It's really only through our passionless intellect, which comes and goes, that we are able to achieve any progress at all. We apes must get better at trying to look ahead instead of getting bogged down in recriminations. The whole universe is against us!
