Monochromatic Grey Emotions

Thank you! i chose the color grey because that's how depression and feeling lethargic sometimes feel, very foggy and grey! :)

Sounds like an emo poem to me, I'm sorry!

It was actually inspired by an old Victorian poetry book I read a while ago. Emo is a subgenre of music and subculture/style which doesn't necessary align with my writing style. I take more of a Victorian or gothic approach which there is a major difference. Especially in the subculture, you can even say I'm inspired by Black Metal lyrical theme! However there is nothing wrong with that subgenre or subculture of emo. The terms are simply very different.

I found your poem overly emotional, that's all. You talk about losing love as like death. Bit dramatic don't you think?

There is deaths of any forms under my spiritual practice that is stemmed from my cultural practice we acknowledge all forms of death. The end of a friendship, the end of a relationship, we grief those loses similar to death of course it doesn't feel nearly as terrible as actually loosing to someone you care about to psychical death its still a grieving process you have to go through that is uncomfortable. Old times shed to make room for new beginnings! We embrace death of all forms under Holy Death. Again it was suppose to have a vampiric and gothic approach so of course its going to be a bit intense. that is the writing style.
