In the underworld, As Ruke is working on his computer, hands of another demon have covers his eyes.
“Zymrethe… take off your hands.”
“How’d you know it was me?”
“You’re our only girl, the only one who uses strong perfumes that irritate my nose.” Ruke explains, then, asks her why she is at Basilisk’s house.
“You’re so mean! I’m not the only visitor around. Our other brothers are also here… Aren’t you a visitor, yourself?” Zymrethe said; Ruke only said to her, “Shut up.”

Giotto and Columbine remained silent ‘till they got home. Opening the door, Giotto made Columbine enter first, but after that, they didn’t talk again. Columbine feels Giotto is disappointment with her regarding what they had talked about earlier. She wants to try talking to him, but, she’s more afraid that she’ll just make things worse; thus, she lock herself in her room. In the middle of the night, she went out of the house, flies away and went to a cliff.
Columbine got surprised upon hearing Ruke’s voice, telling to her “Are you planning to jump off to that cliff?” as he goes close to her. “Don’t underestimate me. I’m here to unwind.” Columbine corrected.”Unwind, huh…. Looks like you and that human had a disagreement this time.” Ruke suspected. Columbine releases breathe hard. She takes a sit nearly on the tip of the cliff and unveils the truth to him. She even tells Ruke about Giotto’s former status and experience that she knows as she lives along with him.
Ruke sits beside her and gives his conclusion. “Giotto must have been falling for you already…”
“WHAT?” Columbine cried.
“You were there for him for all the time when he was still recovering from his break up with that Cossette; as a result, he got developed to you.” Ruke explain; but, Columbine can’t still believe it.
“Believe me, Columbine, he loves you already more than what you knew you are to him. It came from you too, he might really get sad when you have to leave him. ” Ruke convinces.
Columbine takes a little silence, then, asks Ruke to be not mad on what she’ll say as she places her hand over Ruke’s hand. Ruke asks her “What is it?”
“I’m surprise that you know something about love despite of your demonic being.” Columbine spills with a smile.
“I’m still half a human after all. I have a capability to feel and think like the way humans do.” Ruke tells her, with a somehow evil smile.
Columbine, after mentioning Ruke’s name once again, tells him of her hope that everything between her and Giotto would be fine. All Ruke says to that statement of hers is, “Just don’t make him recall about your plan of leaving from his side.”
“I’ll not mention it now, but I’ll repeat that on him when my leave is already a must.”
“It’s all up on you. Make your own lover’s quarrel.” Ruke teased. Columbine says that it’s too farfetched for her to be Giotto’s lover; furthermore, she tells him that no strong ties should between an angel and a human; adding, “…Even to you, Ruke, we’re not allowed to be close as angels’ laws is concerned.”
“With my previous camaraderie with the angels, that’s no longer new to me.” Ruke tells her, and makes a scare, “I even tore their some of the angels’ wings for not doing their job well.”
“Do you know what happens to angels who lost their angels?” Columbine asked angrily. “Of course, they lose their powers and little by little, they turn to humans...” Ruke answered.
“They’re not worthy to be even called angels if they can’t even do a simple task.” He added.
“You have gone too much! You should have at least given them another chance!” Columbine yells at him and pointed his demon race. “You’re also a demon, no wonder why you could do that…”
Ruke got insulted but decided to tolerate her; he replies to her, “You’re right I’m a demon, a doer of evil. But that was before. I’m no longer like that now…. I’ve changed.”
“It’s saddening to know that you can do that kind of cruelty. As an angel like those you hurt just because of your unreasonable dissatisfaction, I’m hurt for what had happened to them.”
“No matter how good or bad you’ve changed, I can’t differentiate that anymore.” Columbine tells him. “Till the next meeting, Rumpelstiltskin.” She bids ‘bye’ and flies to go back to Giotto’s house. After a few moments, Ruke realized that Columbine has pronounced his real name correctly.

Past midnight, Giotto can’t still sleep and bothered. He goes to Columbine’s room and knocks on the door. After knocking twice, “This is crazy, she must be in deep sleep by now…”
“Is there anything you need from me?”
Giotto looks at his left and sees Columbine holding a tray of refreshment. “Columbine… So, you’re still awake too.”
“How about you, why aren’t you asleep yet?”
“It’s simple. I can’t sleep…” Giotto answers to her; then, he’s the one who asks her next, “What’s that drink?”
“Minted melon milk shake, my favorite. Mind drinking this?” Columbine answered with a smile and invited; “With pleasure.” Giotto responded with a smile.
In the terrace of the second floor, there they drink the minted melon milk shake – with a straw, and a mini umbrella-as a decoration- while star gazing. Giotto suddenly apologizes to Columbine for acting so childish when they were on their way home; on contrary, Columbine apologizes too for ruining his birthday night. Giotto gets his cellphone and looks at the time. “It’s 2:15 in the morning… It’s no longer my birthday.”
“I know that.” Columbine pouted, and asks again for Giotto’s forgiveness. “I’ve already forgiven you before you even asked for it. But how about me, had you forgive me?”
“I’m the one at fault. You don’t have to ask for forgiveness.”
“Then that means we’re friends again?”
“We really are friends. If that’s what I am for you.” Columbine clarifies. Giotto says that he’s glad to hear it and suggest that they just drop off that “assistant thing.” “You’re the only one who said I’m your assistant.” Columbine complained. Giotto just giggled. He wanted to confess to her; but, he has doubt that it isn’t the right time.

In heaven, Genevieve talks to the arch seraph- her father, and tells her plan. The arch seraph doesn’t agree with his daughter’s plan for it is so dangerous; furthermore, it would affect not only his name, but also his daughter’s reputation. Nevertheless, Genevieve cared less for her already established name for the sake of a human’s happiness. “I don’t want him to be lonely anymore… I’m already getting pity of his condition.” She explains. The arch seraph pats his daughter’s head, and rests his hand on top of Genevieve’s head. “He’s still alright on his own. There’ll come a time that he’ll absolutely find his other half.”
The arch seraph forewarns his daughter that if she’ll do her plan, he’ll make no hesitation on punishing her. “I’ll accept the punishment whatever it’ll be.” Genevieve said daringly.

Morning in the human world, Columbine serves Giotto a bed breakfast on his room. Giotto got surprised on Columbine and thanked her.
Columbine goes out and goes back to her room to continue making her assignment report.
Afternoon of the same day, Giotto receives mails. Those were invitations to perform for a luxury cruise ship - heading to France, and to a classical concerto in the north afterwards. He tells it to Columbine and asks her if she wants to come along; but, Columbine preferred to stay at home. “You’ll be alone here. Would you be okay without me? Giotto asks; Columbine confirms to him, “Yes”. Even in doubt, Giotto has just trusted Columbine’s word, but he would have been happier if Columbine will come along with him to France.
Giotto strongly advised Columbine to make a call to him when something happens; but then again, “Can you come back in an instant if you’re there?” Columbine asked jokingly. “I may not, but at least I’ll know if you’re still in good condition or not. That’s better than knowing nothing at all.” Giotto defense himself. He then asks Columbine for her cellphone and inputs his friends’ contact numbers. “The very first person you should call on is Cecil. He’s the most dependable one at all times.” He tells her as she being back the cellphone. “Got it.” Columbine answered.
Few seconds past, Columbine makes a joke on Giotto again, saying, “Hmm… What if I just invite him over for few nights stay here?”
“I strongly disagree with your suggestion.” Giotto commented, irritated. “Cecil is the most reliable, right? He can help me around here.” Columbine added.
“Columbine, I told you to call him only if there’s an emergency, but not at anytime you desired to call on him, especially at calm nights.” Giotto lectured her.
Columbine felt a weight on Giotto’s previous words on her and apologizes as she grasps Giotto’s arm. Giotto touches Columbine’s hand- the one holding his arm- and asks her, “Why don’t you just come along?”
“Sorry….”
