children

children are curious
they're on the one hand innocent
and gullible
and ignorant to a lot of things
but on the other hand they know more
about certain thing
about what's going on in existence
than adults
see they're closer to whatever was before life
and I think that gives them an edge
adults have forgotten a lot of things
because when you're young
your mind doesn't yet know how to organize
and put memories away in the book shelves of the mind
so all that important stuff we knew and were
drifted into a back pile
all unorganized
with some of the pages torn and yellowed
thats why children have such vivid imaginations
and are always artists
(at least for a while)
theyre dreamers and they haven't yet
lost that connection to the other side yet
like we all have.
