Sorted Troubles
As I shuffle all my troubles and lay them on the table,
I would if I could, but I don't think I'm able
To sort apart my worries, in any order that makes sense
And why the cards you left me only have Jokers in the deck
No, you left here in a hurry, even quicker than you came
You said something about Seattle, and how you miss the rain
But in your most recent post it had you on a train
I guess I couldn't blame you for heading to L.A.
Now, I spend my time praying, maybe begging by mistake
Counting all my blessings that still might come my way
And I am not sure if Angels will ever fly this low
With all my sorted troubles, it's all I ever know
I would if I could, but I don't think I'm able
To sort apart my worries, in any order that makes sense
And why the cards you left me only have Jokers in the deck
No, you left here in a hurry, even quicker than you came
You said something about Seattle, and how you miss the rain
But in your most recent post it had you on a train
I guess I couldn't blame you for heading to L.A.
Now, I spend my time praying, maybe begging by mistake
Counting all my blessings that still might come my way
And I am not sure if Angels will ever fly this low
With all my sorted troubles, it's all I ever know
