Filling Spaces With Lovesick Daydreams
Laying, half empty, in the blindness of the dark,
Still and untouched, my body forming rust.
Hands spread wide, the spaces between my fingers,
Are at a universal still, a patience of eternity,
As I wait for you to notice me,
As I’ve obsessed about you.
Painful and self - deteriorating lyrics
Serenade my abnormal heart to a shallow beat,
As I sleep, only to dream about you,
And wake… another morning alone.
The vacant space behind my tainted body
Forms cobwebs of hate,
But they are washed away by tears.
Love transitions to obsession,
That slowly leads to sadness,
Which results in loneliness,
And lastly creates angst.
These tears fill the cracks on my unmoved skin,
As I lay here half empty, in the blindness of the dark,
Still and untouched, my body forms rust.
Hands spread wide, the spaces between my fingers
Are at a universal still, a patience of eternity.
