Not perfect
I'm seeing you both
Through a different perception
What used to be love
Morphed into deception
Sometimes I think
It must be my fault
That I must've broken
Some sacred law
I beat myself up
Wondering why
I'm constantly served
A plateful of lies
What you call sensitive
Is my weakness no more
Sometimes you need to see
My cut open sores
I'm not a robot
With gears for a heart
Locking my feelings
Alone in the dark
Something is missing
When I see your faces
Void of emotions
Not even traces
It shouldn't be awkward
To hold a conversation
But I guess some topics
Are beyond reservations
I know I'm not perfect
And never will be
I just hope that's good enough
For you two to see
Through a different perception
What used to be love
Morphed into deception
Sometimes I think
It must be my fault
That I must've broken
Some sacred law
I beat myself up
Wondering why
I'm constantly served
A plateful of lies
What you call sensitive
Is my weakness no more
Sometimes you need to see
My cut open sores
I'm not a robot
With gears for a heart
Locking my feelings
Alone in the dark
Something is missing
When I see your faces
Void of emotions
Not even traces
It shouldn't be awkward
To hold a conversation
But I guess some topics
Are beyond reservations
I know I'm not perfect
And never will be
I just hope that's good enough
For you two to see
