Distant koto melody
Haunts her kimono folds
The beneath she knows
When she bathes
She decorates boughs
With his rice paper poems
Japanese Mistletoe
For her lonely kiss
Desolate petal in the eye
of a cherry blossom
Floats on an autumn river
Lonely as a moonbeam
When she loosens her sash for the lave
