I laid down my pen, and glanced around the room. We'd all been virtually catatonic in disbelief that this day actually came, even though Catori absolutely knew it would--even before the leaked draft of the opinion; she'd warned us-knowing once given the chance, they'd NEVER pass on such an opportunity. IT wasn't about upholding precedent or women; it's about Christian religious zealots & White MALE toxicity! Growing up around Catholics and other sects of Christians, "Cato" said this day would come over a year ago after the final nails in the country's coffin were added: Brett 'the Beer' Kavanaugh and Handmaiden Grand Dragoness Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, especially after Neil Gorsuch accepted a stolen job showing his immense lack of character; combining the ingredients for disaster gumbo!
Nycea broke the anxious silence by blurting out: "These motherfuckers are taking away RIGHTS now…fuckin' settled RIGHTS!". Sitole followed that with: "y'all notice how Uncle Ruckus Thomas conveniently left off
'Loving v. Virginia' whilst spouting on the other cases he wants to revisit?"
"His chocolate covered cracka ass shouldn't even be on the Supreme Court--or even a kangaroo court! He's the walking definition of being as dumb as you look"-Nycea retorted.
I lit up my blunt and started going into my zone: the zone where I start throwing out what ifs, if THIS-then THATS, and women should be running shit analyses in my head.
"You know once they start with this, they will not STOP--they're gonna' go after contraception, LGBTGIA rights & SAME sex marriages…they could fuck up things to a point where RAPISTS and PEDOPHILES are running shit with zero consequences or accountability?!"-was my offering while re-reading my America, you in danger poem for any needed edits.
Catori, head lowered into her hands raised up slowly and softly followed up-almost under her breath--but we could absolutely hear it-
"They're going to kill the country because they can't get their way…ain't that 'bout a bitch? Her voice slightly raised after that, she added-tell us how LIMP you are without telling us how LIMP you are Non Supreme Court!"
Immediately responding Nycea says:
"I saw videos where these White idiots are training for another Civil War-like the LOSER part just escaped them! They're doing lone wolf missions to induce fear….this is going to get worse before it gets better--and no one is coming to save us…we're gonna' have to do it!"
After that posit, there was a genuine long pause after which we all looked at each other, shook our heads in agreement and dispersed sparingly without any further words spoken. We had that type of bond where no words are needed sometimes--especially when face, mood, and/or body language shouts the message clearly.

If we were going to do anything to eradicate White Supremacy and the Christian ilk that was eroding the societal fabric-LOSING was not an option and we would have to think out of the box-way out;
AND we'd have to be surrounded and guided by forces they couldn't repel.
My Haitian/Jamaican/Ethiopian roots could join Cato's Indigenous/Creole vibes and conjure something real righteous for 'dat ass! It has always been my belief that people shouldn't doubt or make fun of things that defy their personal logic; things in the spiritual realm that ain't Jesus but very powerful nonetheless. They'd have long guns to mask their little dicks, bombs, tanks, and whatever other weapons available. They'll use rape and torture as weapons of war. They'll kill for sport under the auspices of patriotism…they'll bring everything in their arsenal-thank Jah our arsenal is different!
Whatever they come with-we'll have everything else including right on our side.
