To I Know Not Where
The colors of the rainbow are fading
with twilight looming a soliloquy
whispering eventide
and on the cobwebs hang lanterns
with a thousand candles
to light you, to I know not where
under the cold of your fingers
as your pale eyes look at the sky
dripping darkness aphrodisiac
in a murmurous pool of rain
to save the soul of your being
giving majesty to the worms
