That’s funny, I was just reading an article about Lorac. I’m discovering some of these writers through the British Library’s “Crime Classics” series, and recently picked up The Santa Klaus Murder by Mavis Doriel Hay from a charity shop. Women writers turned out a lot of crime and ghost fiction back in the day.
