Time is a strange thing.  It definitely goes fast when you're having fun, slow when you're waiting for something, and speeds up as you age.  I also think that some of us sleep more than we think we do.  Once I woke up with my alarm at 7.00, blinked once and it was 7.35!  Amazing!

Your poem is quite true. For me, time is not measured by hours or days, but by deeds.

it's Sunday, music is on my mind, so you get a dose of my meanderings. Take Sting's "Straight To My Heart", and mix in Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right", and this is what I get. I would say "this is what we get", but I am not sure anyone else would actually want to do that.

Has great resonance for me working with elementary students and thinking about how different their childhoods are compared to mine.

it's all linear... but for whatever reason, time definitely seems to slip away far too quickly, the older you get.
