Wonderland
I was falling down a rabbit hole
screaming in an endless darkness
that's till I met you; the one as lost as me
knowing we’re not normal
but together life feels tolerable
when everything is wrong, we belong
twisting and turning
hoping while hopeless
waiting for no saving
from this wonderland
people call me mad
I should seek therapy
but it’s only you in my thoughts
my quirky little queen
taking me to strange worlds
with those crazy things you do
touching and kissing my heart beat away
if only I could keep you
we can drink a cup of tea
until death do us part
they may see us as broken
but I view us as the outspoken
playing our cards while the clock ticks away
ignoring pointless banter
from naysayers and their cheshire grins
I can take you away from all of this
just say the word
we can go mad together
and I'm sure you'll agree

Damn, I am so late getting here. Time passes so quickly... But I loved going down this rabbit hole with you. Screaming in the endless darkness, listening for the echo and that echo is you. Knowing we are not normal. When you find that person that you can share all of your quirks, kinks, and weirdness with, that's wonderland. What better therapy is there than to visit strange worlds together. 'my quirky little queen' I love that, it's so endearing. Touching and kissing, stealing hearts is so fun. Perfectly broken together where the pieces of each other fit so well making something new and entirely beautiful . And where the unbroken is just somehow mundane and boring. Tarot cards can't even predict the fate. Normal is so overrated... Something I could never be.
Really beautiful write full of so many possibilities. I love the non-conformity and recognition that different is incredible.
