And that’s all I know about you
You talk about other people’s issues
Like you have something to prove
I hope they’re talking about you too

About how you think they live


Because when I leave
Are you going to talk about me
I know I’m just who you want me to be
And you don’t know the full story
But I want to know how I’m perceived
What everybody else believes


You’re always too loud
So I live in the background
Listening to the voices in the crowd
You talk about them when they’re not around
I know there’s more to what you found
But I never make a sound


I know what it’s like
To have too much time
And get attached to other people’s lives
But keep it in your mind
You don’t know what goes on inside
