I just saw on FB pics taken of some NHL greats in the room after a game. Catching a breath while enjoying a cigarette. Some players used to smoke between periods (like Guy Lafleur, a great One). Not anymore.

I like how snooker players used to get hammered between shots, with big beer pitchers on their little tables.

You're right, in the early days of Darts on T.V, they'd be supping beer -- and the commentators would even say things like 'so-and-so's on such-and-such a beer' - not any more, there's too much money in it and winning at all costs has swamped the fun.
