Finished Before Time

I want to ring the doorbell on your yesterday.
Will you answer? Or will mystery greet me?

Would you come out to play this awkward game of life with me? I find I am confused in my weakness. I seek a tender companionship.

Let us absorb today’s grand daylight as the Divine ignites a flame in us.
We’ll reflect on the thoughts of tomorrow with the light of today.

We’ll surround ourselves with loving affirmations for the future.
I'll confront the ghosts of your darkness and cast them out, then serve you comfort.

We will become one with the Divine in both of us.
The flame of our existence will extinguish the dark past.
