Bigfoot and Cooper
Here's a tale of remarkable chaps
Will they provide adventure? Perhaps!
How did a duo this bizarre, unite?
Cooper descended, as if by kite,
A parachute really, from a hijacked jet,
Gave Bigfoot his companion, you bet!
Cooper, it seems, entangled in tree
Rejoiced as Sasquatch soon set him free.
It took some time for thoughts to adjust
As hominid and human formed a new trust!
Bigfoot, with an underground lair,
And Cooper with his cropped... 70's hair!
Sasquatch built a cavernous stash
Aided by Cooper's copious cash.
The lair annexed some old lava tubes
Well under volcanos and hillbilly boobs.
Only accessible at night and by code
They valiantly worked from the rocky abode,
Accumulating this, studying that,
They generated a surplus quite fat.
It supplied needed resources, of course,
Including some lots involving a horse!
Not that they needed him, but you never know,
Since Cooper rode him in rain or light snow.
Oh the horse was renown all through the land
As a stallion only few would well understand.
But one day in autumn on Cooper's next ride
Bigfoot kept up with his generous stride!
By this hairy companion the horse wasn't troubled
Since Bigfoot's gentility, near horses, doubled.
Cooper as well was quite the horse fellow
And made the brute exceedingly mellow!
The horse became fond of the newfound friends
And so cared not whence forth the path wends.
That trio bizarre became quite delighted
With rugged summits that they had sighted!
And once in awhile when they were hiking
They'd find a place much to their liking
Where they would tarry, for awhile,
Enjoying native flora, and camping in style!
At living in woods they became quite adept
So under the stars and the clouds they slept
Like evert cowboy in an old time movie!
Hey, it was the 70's...and they felt GROOVY!
That groovy feeling was quite infectious
To creatures lurking under grove coniferous.
So one night special, in the wee hours
They sang a song of hypnotic powers!
Cooper, Bigfoot, and horse in a good mood,
Drew every odd beast from out of the wood.
Closer they crept to the really weird camp
Much like moths to Coleman's fine lamp!
Then there by the fire, oh so sublime,
Was one happy forest taking pleasure in rhyme!
They started to sing , all mammals and birds,
With Bigfoot in charge of the musical nerds!
All through the night, and all through the forest...
Bigfoot, Cooper, and bright creatures chorused!
They crooned and warbled and belted out tunes,
And some could be heard on Olympic beach dunes!
These critters, it seems, had musical skill
And needed a leader not possible to kill.
Cooper, indeed, was up to the task
And Bigfoot? Well shit,...go ahead and ask!
Then Cooper renounced his past as hijacker
And swore to no more act as a cracker!
Delighted, in fact, for a chance to serve
Bigfoot and Cooper redoubled their nerve
And set out to right all sorts of wrongs
To become the stuff of really great songs!
Will they provide adventure? Perhaps!
