patience and promises
Let me be the whispers
up the inside of your thigh
that raises your tiny vellus hairs
and makes your eyes widen.
I want to bend your bones
watch them flex
beneath your satin skin.
Words will not matter.
Instead, I'll read the unspeakable
sonnets of the flesh
screaming from your eyes
as your soul resurrects.
These pledges here I promise;
I'll deliver nothing less.
Alone with my words resonating.
You sit
biting your lip and
rubbing your long legs
with these words i planted
inside of you
growing.
Now I wait.
